Eddie Steinman went over there and paid the deposit. 11AM – 3PM, Club will provide burgers, dogs, buns, drinks, silverware, plates. Members can bring sides. Must be a member. RAFFLE Volunteer needed for 2017
Membership: Not much new for membership. We should grandfather people in September for membership for the next year. (Since there was only 2 people so far this month)
Lourdes will work with Alan to design the new 2017 membership cards.
WEB SITE / SOCIAL MEDIA: ADDITIONAL EVENTS / FIELD TRIPS:
Tank Hop: Lulio will show off his tank.Julio Basanta will show off his tank, and his friend (Itsander). Ti also. Richard might also be able to show his tank. We have enough tanks.
August picnic was good, but it was hot. Next picnic should be in the spring – Maybe April
Aquarimania Committee Report: lots of interest for the show, but no real commitments
Charlie Gregory agreed that he would do a touch tank.
Marco Rocks suggested doing an aquascaping contest
Show costs $10k to rent + $5k in rooms – booths are $200 each. We need about 75 booths to break even. We are currently at 28 booths.
We need to have 50 booths by November 1. Next payment is due November 17th
